I want to try next the C-47 with the glider being towed. My problem is I don't know what the scale of the C-47 is. I need both aircraft to be 1:28 to match the scle of my other models. On a large version the glider sais it was 1:60 scale. So my question is, is the large C-47 the same scale because it is large? Can any one please direct me on either the C-47 and a glider at the scale I need of 1:28 or I.D. the scale of the large C-47. I hope you understand my problem. It's a bit confusing I know. wc

If the glider is 1/60 it would have to be printed at 214% to make it 1/28. So it would be quite large. The C47 would be huge.

I've no idea what the scale is but I think I will go with the way it is printed out now. d**n, I never thought of that. Big enough motor and I could get on for a fly around the block. Thanks. wc

Print them at a smaller scale than the others. Tell people that they are off in the distance.

Try this to help with scaling. I finally found it on my hard drive.

Thanks Coach. If I make the scale match between the C-47 and the Stearman then the C-47 would be huge. Right now I don't know what the true scale of the C-47 is as the point of scale anywhere on the sheets for the model. Not that it matters any more. Thank you. wc

The CG-4 Glider is 1:60, and the C-47 is about 1:61. So, if you print the C-47 at 99%, they should match. Or, you could just leave them in printed scale. That's what I did, and It looks fine.

I know what you mean about having all the models in the same scale, but it isn't reasonable to increase the C-47/CG-4 to the scale of the Stearman. And, to shrink the Stearman down to 1:60 would make some parts quite small.
