I'm just about done with the Me-262 and would like to display it in a wheels down configuration. The colouring is with the wheels up. I was wondering what is an easy way to make it look right?

I was thinking I should carefully blacken the undercarriage doors so they look like bays, and maybe scratch build the doors in an open position. What are other people doing?

That's what I did with the Zero I'm working on at the moment. I blacked out the undercarriage doors with a Sharpie, then altered one half of the printed landing gear so I could use the tread pattern. I think it looks ok :D.

Cool. :)

I wish I'd thought to do this before assembly. That, and adding some weight to the nose..
