If I ask a favor could I get the scale of both GeeBee aircraft. I found the Gee-Bee Z Black and Yellow has a WSAM of 66% but when I looked on the Gee-Bee R1 Red and White the WSAM says 1 which I guess is a typo. I noticed that there is a size difference between the large Gee-Bee's when I compared the wings of both and want to convert the Z model to match the same scale as the other so they look better side by side. I have a friend who can do the work for me as I can't because I don't have a clue how to do this. Just another item I don't know anything about. Thank you for your help guys. wc

I did some quick measuring and calcs. Assuming the large version is meant to be printed on letter size paper, the wingspan as drawn is roughly 7.9" which would make it 1/38 scale if the plane had a 25' wingspan, that equals a WSAM of 63.3%. That is for the Gee Bee.

If the Gee Bee Z is WSAM 66% it would be 1/39.6 scale.

'Course I could have the drawing the wrong size but that is what I came up with.

Okey Dokey then, print the Gee Bee Z at 104% to equal the scale of the red and white one. ;)

I tried your idea by replacing the percent size but there was not change. I went in properties and found a place and then little by little I found the magic number. For my system it's 93%. Thank you Bread, I owe you and all the guys but a special to you for once again bailing me out. I am much happier. Even with a super mi grain popping away and yes I think it's time for my meds. and R&R. Thank you again. john

4% isn't much of a change, figure if the original was 10" the new one would only be a little over 10 1/4". It could screw up the printing though, because thing may get cut off at the edges.
